  • Hardware encoder:
    • H.264 AVCHD high definition video encoder
    • Multi-channel audio (2 or 5.1 channel audio) from optical audio or HDMI input, or two channel stereo audio
    • Recording datarate: from 1 to 12 Mbits/sec
    • Recording formats:
      AVCHD (.TS and .M2TS) and .MP4
      Resolution up to 1080i from component (YCrCb and YPrPb) and HDMI video
      The video input format determines the recorded format. For example, 1080i input records at 1080i, 720p records at 720p, etc.
  • Input/output connections
    • HDMI input, from non-encrypted HDMI sources such as the Xbox 360 and D-SLR cameras
      Note: Colossus will not record video from HDMI sources with HDCP copy protection.
