- Dual built-in high quality hardware MPEG-2 encoders for recording analog cable TV. Record to disk using from 1-2 Gigabytes of disk space per hour. While recording, the WinTV-HVR-2255’s hardware MPEG-2 encoders do all the work, so your PC continues to run at full speed.
- Use Windows Media Center’s TV scheduler to record your favorite TV shows. There’s no monthly charge for the program guide and scheduler!
- WinTV-HVR-2255 MC-Kit includes the Windows Media Center remote control transmitter and receiver. Manage all Media Center functions with the hand held remote control. Includes an IR transmitter to control the channels on a cable or satellite set top box.
