You can order the WinTV v8 application two ways. If you have downloaded the WinTV v8 application from our website and just want the Activation Code, order the Activation Code only. If you would like to have a WinTV v8 CD, please order CD-ROM plus Activation Code and we email you the Activation Code plus mail you the WinTV v8 CD (postal charges will be added).
Note: the Activation Code requires an Internet connection to complete the WinTV v8 installation. If you do not have an Internet connection, please email us at sales@hauppauge.com
WinTV v8.5 with Extend is the latest TV application from Hauppauge.
WinTV v8 is for use with all WinTV-HVR's, the WinTV-dualHD, WinTV-quadHD, WinTV DCR's and HD PVR's.
Watch, pause and record TV on Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista or Windows XP. If you have a Hauppauge TV tuner with FM radio, you can also listen to and record FM on your PC.
WinTV v8.5 features:

WinTV Extend has the following features:
- Stream live TV to your iPad or iPhone via Wi-Fi or via the Internet. You can use either an Internet browser to watch TV or you can use Hauppauge's WinTV Extend iOS app for the iPhone or iPad
- Live TV can be streamed to your PC or Mac. WinTV Extend uses the browser on your Windows PC or Mac (Chrome, Safari and Internet Explorer supported)
- You can stream inside or outside the house. To stream live TV outside your house, you need to open a 'port' on your home router.
